HackerEarth is pleased to announce its next webinar on Evaluating and Improving Machine Learning Models, to help you learn from the best programmers and domain experts from all over the world.
About this webinar:
What do you do after you train a machine learning model? In this webinar, we are going to explore the evaluation of machine learning models and learn what are the different ways in which you can quantify their performance. What if your model does not perform well? We are also going to discuss methods and techniques to further refine and improve a machine learning model beyond simply adding more training data.
Gaurav Goswami has five years of experience working in the areas of artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, pattern recognition, and biometrics. His Ph.D.thesis focuses on using machine learning and computer vision techniques to solve challenges in face recognition by improving the computation and combination of robust representations. He has worked on a wide variety of research problems ranging from proposing novel deep learning architectures for feature learning to RGB-D face recognition, creating face recognition CAPTCHAs, and attacking deep neural network based face recognition systems. He has authored and reviewed multiple peer-reviewed articles for international journals, conferences, and books. He has been awarded the prestigious IBM Ph.D. fellowship for the year 2015-2016.He is the recipient of the best Doctoral Consortium presentation award at the 2014 IEEE/IAPR International Joint Conference on Biometrics (IJCB). He also placed 3rd in the 2014 IDRBT Doctoral Colloquium and won the best paper award at the 2013 IEEE International Conference on Biometrics: Theory, Applications, and Systems (BTAS).
The Webinar is scheduled for November 9, 2017, 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM IST.
